I have been going to Starbucks almost every day to get iced coffee and I saw this flourless chocolate chewy cookie on display and I hella wanted one. But then I decided to procrastinate and make them so I didn’t have to limit myself to one! These are magnificently chewy and chocolatey – but make sure you eat them in a day or two (or share) or else they get hard.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
3 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. In large bowl, mix together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
2. Then mix in the egg, vanilla and chocolate chips with the flour mixture. There is absolutely no need to beat the egg whites beforehand or anything. Just mix it in. The mixture will be runny.
3. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to scoop the batter onto the baking sheet. The mix will be runny, but it will bake up all nice and crackly in the oven. The cookies spread so give them space!
4. Bake at 350 deg. for 13-15 min, until the tops are shiny and crackly. Let the cookies cool on the pan completely before removing them! Remember to eat them in a day or two or else they get super hard.
