I’ve never really played with ground turkey because I prefer beef and pork. But I came across this recipe and couldn’t help but try it out! Ground turkey has much less fat than ground beef so a lot of people use it as an alternative to beef in things like bolognese and meatballs. I think this recipe is perfect for an appetizer or a quick snack or dinner. So tasty and addicting!
Meatballs
1 1/2 pound ground turkey
1 egg
4-5 sprigs of green onions, chopped
4-5 sprigs parsley, or cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
Glaze
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4-1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup rice wine
3-4 tbsp shredded ginger
1 tsp ground coriander
1. Mix all the meatball ingredients together.
2. Form into balls. Pan fry them until golden brown and cooked.
3. In a saucepan, stir glaze ingredients. Let simmer down, and reduce the liquid to about half of the original contents.
4. Serve!
